At the core of the DNA of the Hunter Douglas brand is the industry leader in innovation, offering premium, intelligent window coverings that beautifully transform natural light and enhance your home’s interiors. Their products are thoughtfully engineered to craft your perfect light, and many designs offer additional energy efficiency and child safety benefits. A versatile product portfolio and broad selection of innovative operating systems—including advanced automation—allowing you to effortlessly choose the look you desire and how your window treatments function.
WHAT’S TRENDING NOW
As we are spending more time at home, comfort and well-being are key considerations in window coverings. An important facet of this is a connection to nature, which improves overall happiness and well-being. Both Silhouette and Pirouette window shadings offer Clearview, which give users the opportunity to bring the soothing quality of the outdoors in, with an unobstructed view.
Because natural light has a huge impact on our circadian rhythms and mental health, what consumers want most from window coverings is ease in controlling how light enters the home. Hunter Douglas Silhouette window shadings are the perfect product to harvest the glow of natural light, creating a calming ambience indoors.

By offering the duality of light-filtering and room-darkening options, Duolite liners further optimize users’ ability to control their lighting with Silhouette, Vignette and Designer roller shades. These features can be combined with natural materials, earthy colorations, and soft curves, to enhance our interiors for comfort and well-being. A wide variety of luxurious textured textiles can be found in Vignette, Design Studio and Alustra woven textures.
Laurent Bernard, owner of Interior Essentials in Scottsdale and Gilbert, Arizona was joined the ICONIC HAUS roster to design a space and as a complement to the Hunter Douglas partnership. Bernard says that sheers used in new ways are one of the freshest looks of the year. “We even saw texture and woven materials in sheers this year, making them light and airy, but beautiful additions to the windows. In addition to sheers, Bernard saw more natural and organic materials, like woven shades, take center stage in the ICONIC HAUS.
In fall 2019 Hunter Douglas launched Design Studio. Featuring artful designs for a fully dressed window, the Design Studio suite of products provides ample layering opportunities for vibrant home-décor styling. The sophisticated collection of drapery, side panels and Roman shades pair perfectly not only with other products in the collection but also with a wide array of Hunter Douglas window coverings. It provides consumers with a streamlined way to customize the look and feel of their windows.
The new drapery line was showcased at ICONIC HAUS, and four designers opted to showcase the new fabrics in their spaces. Airy, breezy panels in shades of white and naturals were selected for the Mod-iterranean estate and added a simple elegance throughout the HAUS.
