As the heat of the summer mellows in the Colorado mountains, the town of Aspen hits its peak indoor outdoor living stride, offering world class dining, luxury shopping and a vibrant arts and culture scene.
Returning to downtown Aspen for its third edition, Watch Week Aspen is scheduled for August 13-16 with an expanded program of events, talks, cocktail parties and invite only dinners. What began as a special gathering for watch enthusiasts is now one of the premier horological stops in the US.
Centered in the core of downtown Aspen, the event is a walkable, immersive experience that is open to the public to view and engage with global luxury watch brands alongside local jewelers. The collaboration of the event sponsors, Oliver Smith and Aspen Chamber Resort Association, ensures that the luxury event is grounded in community, while hosting executives and artisans from the world’s top watch brands for four days.
“We’re excited to welcome Watch Week back to Aspen for its third year. We hope watch enthusiasts enjoy all that Aspen has to offer while in town, from our arts and culture offerings to outdoor adventures, and incredible dining experiences, “ says Julie Hardman, Senior Director of Events of Aspen Chamber Resort Association.

For the watch brands, it’s an opportunity to showcase their newest pieces from their 2026 collections, interact with watch collectors and those horologically intrigued. Artisans are on hand to answer any questions about the artistry of the time pieces while brand experts offer mechanical details of the movements.
Brands attending are some of the largest names in watch making: Omega, IWC, Hermes, Blancpain, Glashütte Original, A. Lange & Söhne to name a few, while jewelry partners include Analog Shift, Avi & Co., Betteridge, Meridian Jewelers, M.S. Rau, and Oliver Smith Jeweler.
This year promises to be more integrated with its outdoor setting by offering a 3k run and a vintage watch festival to complement the newest brand offerings.
“From artisan demonstrations and intimate presentations to a 3K run, tennis and pickleball activations, cocktail parties, and VIP dinners, Watch Week Aspen brings together horology, adventure, hospitality, and community in a way that is elevated, welcoming, and distinctly Aspen,” says Elizabeth Smith, Co-founder of Watch Week Aspen and Managing Director of Oliver Smith Jewelers.
