\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ A WARM FUZZY FEELING

By Dennis Schuler, lead bartender at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The drink is available at the resort’s Summit restaurant. 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/4 ounce Myer’s Dark Rum
  • 1/2 ounce Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 2 ounces R.W. Knudsen “Just Cranberry“ Juice
  • 3/4 ounce Ginger Simple Syrup
  • 3/4 ounce Drambuie Liqueur 
  • Add 5 ounces boiling water and stir gently

METHOD:

Combine all ingredients in a heated coffee glass. Garnish with half an orange wheel and a cinnamon stick.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ O, HOLY CIDER!

INGREDIENTS:

  •  2oz cinnamon, all spice, star anise infused Old Forester 86-proof bourbon (house infused) 
  • .5oz Drambuie 
  • 6 dashes of Bittermans Elemakule Tiki bitters
  • 6oz of warm apple cider

METHOD:

Combine ingredients in a glass, stir and garnish with a single star anise.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ BROWN BUTTERED RUM DRIP

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz brown buttered rum
  • 1/2 oz baking spiced syrup
  • 4 oz hot water strained through smoked tea
  • Brown butter infused zacapa rum
  • Demerara syrup infused with cinnamon clove and cardamom

METHOD:

Combine ingredients, serve warm with a smoked tea drip.
