This isn’t your typical beach chair. The award-winning Dedon LEAF is a chair unlike any other, with a unique leaf-inspired design that looks as if it came straight out of your garden. Bringing a new meaning to “organic” design, this leaf-shaped chair was designed to bring you closer to nature.
Designed by Frank Ligthart, the large leaf shape of the chair isn’t just for looks, its curving lines and upturned sides were made to ergonomically support as you relax. The chair is available in two gorgeous colors— java and seagrass—that help you embrace nature. The shape is great for lounging by the pool, the beach or anywhere outdoors. The chairs rest on four stationary points, so you can always be sure that you have the support you need.
The sturdy chair is made with an aluminum frame with integrated cushioning and an optional leaf-shaped padded towel for added comfort. The finishing is electrostatic powder-coated and can be easily cleaned with a soft cloth, warm water and gentle cleanser as needed.
“My designs convert a concept into a clear form, without superfluous decor,” Ligthart said.

Ligthart’s LEAF design has received many accolades, including the “Award for Outstanding Design” from the British Interior Design Association in 2005. In 2006, it was awarded the “Red Dot Design Award for Product Design,” a prestigious design award in Europe.
