The clock is ticking to the Wicked: For Good premiere, the long-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster hit Wicked. If you were a theatre kid growing up, you probably have November 21st marked on your calendar already. But what if I told you that there’s a way to watch the movie earlier, and for a good cause?
Phoenix Children’s Hospital is partnering with Harkins Theater at Fashion Square Mall and Corporate Executive + Champion Council on November 19th for an exclusive showing of Wicked: For Good. All of the proceeds will go directly to Phoenix Children’s Behavioral Health Program, which helps provide mental and behavioral health resources to children who struggle with anxiety, depression and eating disorders.
“This is the second year we have decided to do this event,” Jordan Olstead with Phoenix Children’s Hospital says. “ All of the proceeds come back to the hospital to benefit behavioral health, which is quite a big need in general. Buying a ticket will have a great impact; it’ll provide mental and behavioral health services that pediatrics need.”

Tickets for the event are $100 and can be bought here. The night will be wonderful, magical and scandalicious. Guests will receive a pre-show cocktail or mocktail, popcorn and a Wicked-themed goodie bag filled with all things Oz. There will be many photo opportunities to enjoy before and after the movie.
“There are three screenings that will be happening that day,” Olstead says. “There are going to be tons of photo opportunities and immersive experiences, themed bags and drinks. All of that immerses you into the film. I am really excited to see everything unfold. We had a wonderful time last year. I am expecting it to be the same this year, if not better.”
