ICONIC bespoke, luxurious rugs from Erik Lindstrom are a work of art—and ethically woven.
Erik Lindstrom believes that every successful room design should begin with an eye-catching rug—allowing everything else to organically grow from it. Offering a “curated selection of contemporary, transitional and textural patterns, which evoke both subtle and statement personalities to complement any interior,” Lindstrom’s custom area rugs disrupt trends while utilizing designs primarily from the natural world, inspired from flora, fauna, landscape and more.
“Creating a design or texture that stands apart from the rest is always the ultimate goal, but it requires an open mind and a trained eye on our surroundings,” Lindstrom says.

“The natural world of flora and fauna are always inspiring to me and are often showcased in our collections. With a background in interior architecture, I also try to always design through this lens, creating interest in each part of the rug so as to give our clients a blank canvas from which to place furniture, lighting and more.”
While products from Erik Lindstrom’s online shop are completely customizable to just about any pattern, shape, color or size, there is also a large assortment of ready-to-order area rugs.
The rugs are manufactured from the finest natural materials—Tibetan and New Zealand wool, Chinese fine (mulberry) silk and plant fibers like bamboo silk, hemp, cactus, nettle and linen. These artisan rugs are also responsibly woven and socially conscious.
“We are a proud partner of Goodweave International, who is the non-profit arm of the rug industry and ensures that no children have a hand in the rugs we make,” Lindstrom says. “A small portion of each rug purchased through us goes back to Goodweave, providing educational programs for children removed from enslaved factories around the globe, particularly in east Asia”
“It’s part of our moral compass that is a feel-good moment for both our company and clients alike.”
