Discover how Jackson Burrows’ streetwear label Power Abuse blends elevated design with affordability, timelessness, and a bold mission to empower personal style.

Confident. Timeless. Intentional. This is the essence of Power Abuse — a clothing brand rooted in the understanding that fashion is a source of true self-assurance. Every detail is thoughtfully considered and creatively designed to reflect the intentionality of personal style.

“I want people to feel confident and comfortable,” says Jackson Burrows, founder of Power Abuse. “Like they’re wearing something elevated but effortless — something that fits their lifestyle without trying too hard.”

Originally a pseudonym for Burrows’ work, Power Abuse has evolved over the past several years into a thoughtful line of button-downs, T-shirts, hats and hoodies — a true homage to the tenacity of its creator.

“It’s a reflection of hard work and dedication — and honestly, it’s still a daily push to keep going. But it means a lot to build something from the ground up and watch it take shape,” Burrows explains.

When designing his collection, Burrows considered his top values as a business owner: the quality of the materials, the integrity of the brand and, most importantly, the accessibility of wearing Power Abuse.

“The inspiration behind Power Abuse was to create something high-quality and timeless:  apparel that feels elevated but doesn’t break the bank,” says Burrows. “I wanted clean, minimal designs that anyone can wear, regardless of background or status. It’s about accessibility without sacrificing style — something that looks good today and still holds up years from now.”

As Burrows looks to the future, he emphasizes that expanding Power Abuse’s collection is only possible if the brand leans into the founding principles of creating fashion with quality, integrity and timelessness in mind.

“Right now, I’m focused on building a strong foundation in every aspect of the business and expanding on what we’ve already started. We’ve got a women’s line, leather backpacks, duffel bags, and a ton of new tees and button-ups all in production. It’s about putting out quality goods consistently and growing the brand the right way.”
