When approaching privacy and hospitality, The Bergen considered how they can be complementary elements. Residents want to feel that they have privacy in their own homes, but also know that all of their amenities are at their fingertips.
“From a planning standpoint, that meant creating clear transitions between public and private spaces, allowing residents to engage with amenities like concierge and valet as much or as little as they choose,” Nadeau says. “Arrival sequences, lobby flow and amenity placement were all designed to feel intuitive and discreet, supporting a sense of ease from the moment you return home.”
Thoughtful design doesn’t end at the front door, though, as each residence was created with residential ease in mind. While many apartments boast “luxury,” very few can say they have dual kitchens, spacious walk-in closets and expansive living spaces.

“From the beginning, the goal was to design residences that feel intentional and enduring, more aligned with custom homes than a typical rental product in this market,” Nadeau notes. “That meant prioritizing scale, materiality and functionality in a way that supports how people actually live day-to-day.”
