Bordering on outrageous, Arasheben’s glittering timepieces and jewelry treasures showcase his contemporary designs made for the rich and famous.
He is as accomplished in his trade, and confident in his craft, as the hundreds of his famous clients, who read like a roll call of the who’s who in music, sports, film and fashion. Jason Arasheben, aka Jason of Beverly Hills, is the go-to creative genius for spectacular custom designed jewels for high-profile and affluent individuals. Arasheben has a method to his creative madness that has allowed him to become the jeweler of choice for stars like Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, Rihanna, Dwyane Wade and even impressively crafting a $400,000 diamond iPhone case for none other than rapper Drake. “These guys aren’t just clients,” Arasheben told ICONIC LIFE, “they have become friends, and being a part of their big life moments has become one of the best parts of this job.”
“I really believe that fortune favors the bold,” said Arasheben. “I'm always pushing and striving for more, but I always come back to two things; we listen to what the customer wants and focus on projects that are original and design-driven.”
While many jewelers seem to subscribe to a philosophy of being understated, subtle and refined, Jason of Beverly Hills goes full-speed in the opposite direction. His designs border on outrageous, spectacular and boundless, and it shows in the over-the-top works of art that he brings to life. “I really believe that fortune favors the bold,” said Arasheben. “I’m always pushing and striving for more, but I always come back to two things; we listen to what the customer wants and focus on projects that are original and design-driven.” In the highly competitive jewelry industry comprised of fine-designers like Adam Foster and celebrity-designer, Sheryl Lowe, it is often a challenge to carve a name for oneself. But Arasheben has done just that. Using the world’s finest materials, he has imagined wildly inventive and bold pieces, from watches to wedding rings, for the world’s most well-known names.
He has private showrooms across the US—as well as Tokyo—with his signature shop in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. It’s there that you can see the two-million-dollar diamond-laden shoes he created for Nick Cannon to wear on the season finale of America’s Got Talent, which Arasheben himself modeled on the Today Show. “We have had a few offers and I’ve spoken with Cannon about selling them. We are just trying to decide what charity we want to donate the proceeds to.”

His attention to detail and eye for the opulent is why he’s on speed-dial for NBA championship teams when they are looking for a design of their ring. He created the Lakers championship rings in 2009 and 2010 and has done all three for the Golden State Warriors. “We’re approaching a point where we can’t get any bigger and designers now have to focus more on the innovation and design of the rings than ever before.”

Arasheben is a sports fan at heart, which is why working with athletes and championship teams is something he looks forward to and enjoys immensely. When you develop close personal relationships with iconic athletes who are also clients, it’s only natural to follow their career as much as time will allow for one the of world’s busiest and in-demand jewelers. “I’ve always been a huge sports fan,” said Arasheben. “I played tennis in college, and as much as I love the game, I’m unfortunately not very good at basketball. I never watched futbol growing up, but as I started to watch games alongside my clients. I found a real appreciation for the sport. I try to follow as much as I can, but it can be a little much when all the seasons start overlapping.” Arasheben has created pieces for over 350 professional athletes during his career in jewelry design.
