Justin Fox, founder of Foxterra Design, produces incredible work, transforming people’s outdoor spaces into true havens for entertainment. His acclaimed work has gained international recognition from celebrities and high-profile clients alike.
Fox began his career working as a licensed contractor, building luxury pools and yards. With his background in the contracting industry, he would witness the meticulous design process that interior designers and architects executed, so he decided that the same philosophy and time should be applied to outdoor spaces.

In 2019, driven by a profound vision, he made a pivotal shift in his career. His singular focus was to establish a company dedicated exclusively to delivering world-class pool and landscape design solutions for discerning clients. This ambitious endeavor led him to convince his brother, Nate, to join him in the foundational efforts of the firm, culminating in the creation of Foxterra Design. Together, they embarked on a journey to redefine outdoor living spaces, blending innovative aesthetics with functional artistry to craft bespoke environments that transcend mere design.
“Excellence of work is at the forefront of our company,” Fox says. “The second thing we focus on is visibility; it doesn’t matter if you are the number one company in the world, if nobody knows about you, it won’t matter. We really work hard to grow exposure and market ourselves.”
Fox has designed luxurious backyard escapes for well-known names such as Becky G, Jason Derulo, Two Chains, Victoria Monet and Odell Beckham Jr. “Working with celebrities is not much different than working with other clients, I am still focused on the same thing, ‘how can I create their dream yard and make it special’” Fox says. “Working with Jason Derulo was really fun; he gave me a lot of creative freedom, and we have become friends throughout the process.”
