COCONUT OIL AVOCADO BANANA HAIR MASK

Ingredients
● 1 ripe avocado
● 1 ripe banana
● 2 tbsp coconut oil

Method

Combine the ingredients and blend everything together until thoroughly mixed. Next, spread the mixture over your hair and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes. When your timer goes off, rinse your hair with your daily shampoo and conditioner. Get ready for luscious, silky hair.

SOOTHING HERBAL FACIAL STEAM

Ingredients

● 1 medium to large sized glass bowl
● 1 bath towel
● 6 cups boiling water
● 1 tbsp dried lavender
● 1 tbsp dried rose petals
● 1 tbsp dried calendula
● 1 tbsp dried chamomile
● 5 drops geranium essential oil
● 2 tbsp lemon juice

Method

First, you need a clean canvas for this spa treatment, so make sure your face is clean without any trace of makeup or other products. Boil the six cups of water, then transfer it to a medium or large-sized glass bowl, adding in tea and dried herbs or flowers (depending on your preference).

After setting the bowl down on a steady surface, let the mixture cool for a few minutes before placing a large towel over your head to keep the steam. Position your face about 18 inches away from the bowl. Relax and steam your pores for 10 minutes, rinse your face with cool water and end this spa treatment by applying a light moisturizer.

HONEY AVOCADO FACE MASK

Ingredients

● 1/2 avocado
● 1/4 cup uncooked oatmeal
● 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
● 2 tbsp honey
● 1 tsp lemon juice

Method

Combine the ingredients by mashing them in a small bowl. Apply the mixture to your face, making sure to avoid your eyes. Let the mask sit for about 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Follow with the moisturizer of your choice and say hello to the skin of your dreams.

PEPPERMINT COFFEE LIP SCRUB

Ingredients

● 2 tbsp coffee grounds
● 1/4 tbsp coconut oil
● 1-2 drops peppermint essential oil

Method

For this spa treatment, mix together the coffee grounds and coconut oil to create a slightly gritty combination. Next, add one to two drops of peppermint essential oil. When everything is combined, use your finger to gently rub the mixture onto your lips to exfoliate them. You can remove it quickly or leave it on for a little longer to allow the coconut oil to moisturize your lips.

When you’re ready, wipe your lips with a warm washcloth. If you have a container (preferably one the size of a small, store-bought lip scrub), you can save the rest of your DIY scrub for later.

BROWN SUGAR & VANILLA BODY SCRUB
Ingredients

● 2 cups brown sugar
● 1 cup solid (but soft) coconut oil
● Extra additions (vanilla extract, essential oils, etc.)

Method

Combine the brown sugar, coconut oil and any chosen extra additions together. You can do this by hand or using a food processor to make the mixture resemble loose cookie dough. Make sure to avoid mixing for too long because the coconut oil will melt and separate. In the shower or bathtub, cover your body with the scrub to exfoliate.

When you’re finished, you can store the DIY scrub in an airtight container to use again during your next spa treatment this summer. Fill the hot months with super smooth skin!

PIÑA COLADA FOOT SOAK

Ingredients

● 1 cup pineapple juice or ½ cup chopped fresh pineapple
● ½ cup coconut milk
● Warm water
● Bowl

Method

Fill the bowl with warm water, then pour the pineapple juice or chopped fresh pineapple into the bowl. Next, add ½ cup of coconut milk. With everything combined, soak your feet for at least 15 minutes (or until the water is cold).
