Cala, the newest dining concept at the brand-new Senna House hotel, offers fresh, coastal-inspired cuisine.

Food Network personality and Executive Chef at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, Beau MacMillan is serving up Mediterranean delights as the culinary director of a new Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona restaurant, Cala. The latest concept from Clive Collective, a Scottsdale-based restaurant group, Cala is located inside of the brand-new Senna House hotel and offers fresh, coastal-inspired cuisine.

Chef Beau MacMillan, one of the incredible chefs you may see on the Food Network, brings his incredible experience and international-recognition to of of his new restaurants in Phoenix, creating innovative yet simple dishes with a focus on healthy and local ingredients. Cala’s menu includes handmade pastas, seafood and extensive wine, cocktail and beer options.

“Cala is a place that guests will find themselves not wanting to leave; it’s vibrant with great energy creating an immersive environment with an experience that offers something for everyone,” says MacMillan. “We’ve intentionally created a modern establishment with a perfectly curated vibe and approachable food that is incredibly cared for alongside unforgettable cocktails.”

Working with a dream-team that includes MacMillan, General Manager Rob Mier, Executive Chef Peter McQuaid and cocktail curator Clint Spotleson, Cala has the ideal setup for creating bold and refreshing food and beverages. 

Cala and Sanctuary Camelback Mountain aren’t the only endeavors the acclaimed Food Network chef is undertaking—MacMillan also oversees culinary direction at Money, Baby! in Las Vegas, and he is the Director of Culinary Operations for Clive Collective.

“Cala is a place that guests will find themselves not wanting to leave; it’s vibrant with great energy creating an immersive environment with an experience that offers something for everyone,” says MacMillan.

“We don’t do anything basic in the concepts we dream up at Clive Collective,” says Mikis Troyan, co-founder and managing partner. “Cala will be unlike anything else in Scottsdale, and we can’t wait to create memorable experiences for our guests.”

Cala offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, located on the bottom floor of the Senna House Hotel, ​​a part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. The space is nearly 5,000 square-feet, with a 1,750 square-foot exterior patio and a 40-foot patio bar complete with cabanas and lush landscaping.
