Change Agent Golf Classic Raises Money for Kids Facing Critical Illness

A focused day of golf turned into the Driven Project’s largest donation yet.

The inaugural Change Agent Golf Classic, held at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club, was a profound demonstration of purpose in motion with 122 golfers participating and 23 sponsors and partners supporting this movement. Raising $77,900 in partnership with the Driven Project, an organization that delivers “supercar therapy” experiences to local kids facing illness, this first-ever golf classic was a resounding success.

The Change Agent Golf Classic wasn’t just about teeing off—it was about bringing together Scottsdale’s top businesses and change-making programs to uplift children with critical illnesses and their families.

“So much work went into this and none of it’s possible without the guests that registered, without the incredible sponsors and partners that saw the vision and wanted to be a part of something bigger than just a day of golf,” says Tim McBride, founder of Homes for Good, and co-founder of ONE Team Scottsdale.

The event proceeds are the largest single contribution ever received by the Driven Project, providing them with the assets to continue to offer children who are managing critical health conditions once-in-a-lifetime experiences with supercars.

“This extraordinary event brought a whole new meaning to our tagline: ‘Keep driving forward,’” explains Kevin Gordon, founder of the Driven Project. “What happened at the Change Agent Golf Classic was nothing short of magical– it was a powerful display of heart, community and purpose in action.”

With the release of the official recap video, supporters and newcomers alike can witness the energy and generosity that filled the fairways. As McBride emphasized, this event was a starting point—not a conclusion. The mission is to inspire purpose-driven giving and community transformation for years to come.
