A Brave New Accessory

Apple Airpods continue to grow in popularity, and for good reason. They offer a great listening experience, a long battery life and overall convenience when it comes to charging and wirelessly connecting. That’s where Tapper comes in. The idea for their AirPod straps came to be on September 7, 2016, the very same day the Apple AirPods were introduced to the world for the first time. Social media was soon filled with comments and memes about how easy it would be to lose the AirPods and by September 10, 2016, the Tapper website was officially launched.

Inspiration for the name came from Apple’s Senior Vice President, Phil Schiller, who said that their decision to move away from the headphone jack wasn’t about a wireless future, but about being brave, stating “The courage to move on, do something new, that betters all of us.” The name Tapper comes from the Swedish word tapperhet, which translates to bravery or courage.

Tapper’s AirPod straps, available for both the original AirPods and AirPods Pro, were designed to both protect and elevate the look of your AirPods. The straps come in a variety of materials including nylon, leather, rope chains and are all designed to conveniently magnetically snap together when your AirPods aren’t in use, doubling as a stylish piece of jewelry.

Tapper also offers metal neck cases plated in 18K gold, 925 silver and hematite black, helping you bring your AirPods accessory game to a whole new level.
