Valiant Women at Providence Mission Hospital is dedicated to ensuring that women of all ages receive quality health care.
Advancing women’s health and nursing, that’s the important mission behind the Valiant Women group at Providence Mission Hospital. In fact, Valiant Women has raised nearly $8 million since its formation in 1994. And they aren’t stopping there.
On Friday, October 7, Valiant Women is hosting a luncheon and fashion show at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in support of advancing nursing scholarships and women’s health at Providence Mission Hospital.
This exciting event, presented by The Shops at Mission Viejo, isn’t your typical fashion show—instead it will feature Providence physicians and nurses as the models in a chic, creative strolling fashion presentation, and it includes a robust silent auction, premium raffles and atmospheric entertainment.

During October—Breast Cancer Awareness Month—the Valiant Women will host a THINK PINK Breast Health Wall of Honor at The Shops at Mission Viejo to support breast health services. The THINK PINK Wall of Honor not only will raise key funds to support the uninsured and underinsured, but also create awareness about the importance of early detection.
Honor a breast cancer patient or survivor by making a donation to place an honor card on the wall or to help underwrite the cost of diagnostic procedures.
Sponsorships and donations will help honor the survivors, remember those we have lost and to continue the highest level of compassionate care at Providence Mission Hospital.

The Valiant Women are committed to meeting the medical, surgical, educational and spiritual needs of women in their community. Consisting of over 100 annual members, their commitment has positively impacted women across Orange County, and the Valiant Women Nursing Scholarship and Endowment has provided $400,000 toward advancing nursing leadership at Providence Mission Hospital.
