Luxury is no longer found by owning more. It’s about “having access to experiences that are rare, personal and difficult to replicate,” as Austin Allison, CEO and co-founder of Pacaso, explains. That’s the philosophy behind Infinity by Pacaso, an invite-only global members club that connects owners of exceptional vacation residences through a highly curated home exchange network. Reserved for homeowners with properties valued at minimum $5 million in sought-after destinations, the membership opens the doors to an exclusive collection of privately owned estates spanning places like Tuscany, St. Barths, Napa Valley, Mexico City and New York City.
This new concept is more than a home swap. Here, there’s an annual membership, and every member undergoes extensive vetting before entering the network, resulting in a network of trusted properties around the globe.
“These are real homes that reflect years of memories, personal taste, and care, creating a very different dynamic,” he explains.

RETHINKING LUXURY TRAVEL
The idea began with a personal experience.
“Infinity was inspired by my own experience swapping homes with another family,” says Allison. “It completely changed the way I think about travel, by experiencing a new destination through someone’s extraordinary home, allowing my family a more authentic, seamless travel experience.”
The experience became an extension of Pacaso’s existing home-sharing ecosystem, but Allison believes it also reflects a broader evolution happening among luxury homeowners.
Rather than purchasing a growing portfolio of second, third or fourth residences, today’s affluent travelers are increasingly seeking freedom: the ability to experience exceptional destinations without adding another property to maintain.
“Luxury is continuing to evolve,” Allison says. “It’s no longer only about owning more. It’s about having access to experiences that are rare, personal and difficult to replicate.”

A PASSPORT WITHOUT ANOTHER PURCHASE
There is something liberating about unlocking the front door of a Tuscan villa one season and a sophisticated Manhattan residence the next, all without negotiating another purchase, furnishing another property or overseeing another renovation.
For Infinity members, one extraordinary home becomes a gateway to many others.
“Our members already own beautiful homes, but what they want now is access to a broader world of exceptional spaces without the complexity of buying, maintaining or managing multiple properties,” says Allison. “Infinity allows a home in Napa, St. Barths or Tuscany to become a passport to other extraordinary homes around the world.”
Sonoma
Perhaps that is Infinity’s greatest appeal. It offers something increasingly rare in today’s luxury landscape: authenticity.
Sonoma
Not the curated authenticity sold by resorts or concierge itineraries, but the experience of waking in a home that has a story of its own. Morning coffee on a terrace where another family celebrates anniversaries. Evenings in libraries assembled over decades. Neighborhoods that unfold beyond the tourist trail because someone has already chosen to make this place part of their life.
While luxury hospitality has mastered impeccable service, private villas offer exclusivity. Five-star hotels have perfect consistency, yet none of them quite replicate the quiet intimacy of arriving somewhere that already feels like home.
That distinction fundamentally changes the exchange.
“We saw a gap between hospitality and homeownership,” he explains. “A villa can offer a beautiful stay, but it is still a rental, and a private club can offer access, but the experience is often tied to a fixed portfolio or club environment.”

Infinity builds on the company’s existing Swap program, which enables Pacaso owners to swap into other Pacaso homes around the world as a benefit of ownership. Professionally managed by Pacaso, Infinity carefully selects homes within its network based on architecture, location, character and overall quality, and oversees the exchange process from setup to logistics.
Infinity homes are currently being onboarded in exceptional destinations including Mexico City, St. Barths, Napa Valley, New York City, Tuscany, and more. And this is just the start.
“Infinity will continue to grow, expanding access to world-class destinations over time and building the most trusted and desirable network of global estate,” says Allison. “We believe that the future of luxury home swapping looks less like an open marketplace, and more like an exclusive private club.”
